Chris has worked with Kessels & Associates as one of our senior ecologists for the past 3 years.  Chris has over 5 years experience working as an ecologist in both the private and public sector.  After moving from the UK, Chris worked as an environmental engineer for United Water then as a botanist for both Landcare Research and the University of Waikato.  He has a diverse range of skills including terrestrial flora and fauna surveys, freshwater ecology surveys and report writing.  Chris has worked on a variety of environmental impact assessments, restoration plans, aquatic surveys and provides advice and evidence for resource consent hearings.  His core expertise is in botanical surveys (terrestrial, freshwater and esturine) and analysis of significant natural areas.
